VISITOR REGULATIONS

SAVOY CASTLE

– Visitors are advised to purchase tickets online on the MidaTicket platform
– Entry with guided tour every half hour at fixed times
– Last tour 30 minutes before closing time
– To reach the castle from the car park visitors have to walk uphill for about 15 minutes
– It is advisable to wear suitable clothing as the castle has no heating
– The need to ensure the proper protection of the site does not allow the use of strollers inside the castle; however, it is possible to leave them in storage at the ticket office
Visitors with physical disabilities can enter the internal courtyard of the castle by car, but must phone the ticket office in advance.
It is only possible to visit the ground floor and first floor.
Lift available inside the castle. There are public toilets for disabled visitors.
Small pets are permitted to enter, carried by their owners or in specific pet carrier. They must not be allowed to walk around inside the castle. Medium and large dogs are permitted only to walk around the external areas and must be kept on a lead.

ISSOGNE CASTLE

Due to the existence of architectural barriers it is only possible for visitors with disabilities to access part of the castle, on the ground floor.
There are toilets for disabled visitors in the public car park situated in front of the castle.
Small pets are permitted to enter, carried by their owners or in specific pet carrier. They must not be allowed to walk around inside the castle. Medium and large dogs are permitted only to walk around the external areas and must be kept on a lead. Animals must never be left unattended.

VERRÈS CASTLE

To reach the castle visitors must walk up a steep uphill path leading to the castle entrance. There are also stairs inside the building to visit the upper floor. For these reasons the castle is not accessible to visitors in wheelchairs and pushchairs.

GAMBA CASTLE

– Visitors can visit the castle at their leisure (i.e. not guided tour)
– Starting August 1, 2026: guided tours at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. included in the admission fee

SARRE CASTLE

– All visitors are requested to exercise the utmost caution while moving around inside the castle, as it is a medieval building.

MEGAMUSEO – CONTEMPORARY ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM

– We recommend purchasing tickets online via the MIDA ticket platform.
– Introduction to the museum every 30 minutes
– Audio guide available (in Italian, French and English, with routes for adults, children and a musical path)
– Average time spent in the museum: approximately 1 hour 30 minutes

GUIDED TOURS
– From Tuesday to Sunday at 11:00 and 15:30
– Accompanied tours : A Walk Through Time
– Duration: 1 h 30
– Fees: full price €12, reduced €8, €3 (ages 6–25)
– Activity included in the Museum Pass
– Reservation recommended

The site is accessible and there are no architectural barriers to mobility.
Some parking spaces for disabled visitors are available 100 metres from the Megalithic Area site.
Small pets are allowed, held in arms or in a special carrier. They cannot walk around in the museum under any circumstances. Guide dogs for blind, visually impaired or certified special needs people are also allowed.

MAR-REGIONAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM

The Museum is accessible to visitors in wheelchairs. The rooms in the archaeological section are equipped with Braille panels for the blind and magnifying glasses. Copies and reproductions of artefacts are available under display cabinets in specific drawers to enable visitors to physically feel the objects.
A wheelchair and two pushchairs for children are available on request.

CRYPTOPORTICUS

The Cryptoporticus is not accessible to visitors in wheelchairs.

EARLY CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF SAN LORENZO

– There is no ticket office. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office of the MAR – Regional Archaeological Museum and the Forensic Cryptoporticus.
