At the entrance to the castle stand two granaries, originally intended for grain storage, later also used as barns. Dated to the first half of the 15th century, they are made entirely of wood above a stone plinth, connected to each other by a masonry body, and covered by a single large sloping roof. The doors still retain their original hardware; in particular, the lock is decorated with a rare plaque in the shape of a crenellated castle.
South of the castle is the L’Ola farmstead, a remarkable example of Aosta Valley rural architecture, which inspired the structure of the regional railway stations.
